Who can apply?

Your company must be registered and operating in Singapore, be at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs (by ultimate individual ownership), and must not have started work or paid a supplier before you submit. You must still meet these rules when you claim. Some activities add conditions.

How to apply?

You apply yourself on the Business Grants Portal, signed in with your company's Corppass. Vendors and consultants may not apply for or manage the grant for you.

  1. Check your fit

Confirm the ownership rule and that nothing is signed or paid. Then find the activity that matches your project.

  2. Get a quotation

For digital tools, choose an IMDA pre-approved vendor and build the package on SMEs Go Digital. For other activities, get vendor proposals.

  3. Apply on BGP

A staff member with the BGP Preparer or Acceptor role submits the application on the Business Grants Portal.

  4. Accept, deliver, claim

Accept the Letter of Offer, complete the project, pay in full, then submit one final claim with the deliverables.

Documents required

  • Vendor quotation or proposal for the activity
  • Projection of cost savings, revenue or overseas sales, as the activity requires
  • Latest audited or management-certified financial statements (Large-scale Digital Transformation)
  • Projection of new jobs created (Internationalisation and transformation activities)
  • Corppass roles: a BGP Preparer and a BGP Acceptor
