Singapore companies at least 30% locally owned, buying from an IMDA pre-approved vendor, with nothing signed or paid yet.
We prepare the content, CRM link and lead routing a chatbot depends on. You apply yourself; our price is unchanged.
Everything you need to decide whether EDGE is right for your business, in one place.
Registered and operating in Singapore; at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs (ultimate individual ownership); no work started or payment made before you submit; not previously applied for support for this solution; used in Singapore.
You need a quotation from an IMDA pre-approved chatbot vendor and a one-year cost-savings projection. Your own staff apply with your company's Corppass.
Find a GenAI chatbot solution on IMDA's SMEs Go Digital and get the vendor's quotation.
Build the matching package on SMEs Go Digital and confirm it through Corppass for a reference ID.
Submit on the Business Grants Portal. The published outcome time is one week.
Put the chatbot live, pay in full, and claim with a photo of the software and its unique identifier.
EDGE supports a pre-approved generative AI customer engagement chatbot up to a S$15,000 cost cap. An SME can receive up to 50%, at most S$7,500; a non-SME up to 30% (GenAI Customer Engagement Chatbot page, checked 28 October 2026). It is the largest cost cap among EDGE's marketing-related tools.
It is still a licence grant for a pre-approved product. The quality of the chatbot depends on work done before and around it.
All support figures are maximums, and only your Letter of Offer confirms yours. A note for non-SMEs: the support is up to 30% of the cost, and the cost is capped at S$15,000. Check with your vendor and your Letter of Offer.
This activity only covers a solution and vendor pre-approved on IMDA's SMEs Go Digital platform. You build the package there to match the vendor's quotation and confirm it through Corppass to get a package reference ID for your application. A chatbot built in-house, or by a developer who is not on the list, does not qualify for this activity. Selected single-function solutions are limited to one application per UEN, and you must not have applied for support for the same solution before (EDGE FAQ).
Most chatbot disappointments trace back to one of these, not to the model.
Integration and data migration follow the IMDA package; Enterprise Singapore's FAQ says professional services "may be supported as part of the solution package where they are assessed to be meaningful". Anything outside the package is outside the grant.
The chatbot counts toward the S$30,000 a year digital sub-cap shared by all Automation and Digitalisation projects combined, inside the S$100,000 a year company cap. Both reset on 1 April.
Your company must be registered and operating in Singapore, be at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs (by ultimate individual ownership), and must not have started work or paid any supplier before you submit. The chatbot must be used in Singapore.
Your own staff apply on the Business Grants Portal with your company's Corppass. Enterprise Singapore does not allow third parties, including the chatbot vendor, to apply for or manage the grant for you.
We are not a chatbot vendor. We plan and build the data and systems around one: the content source, the CRM connection, lead routing and measurement. That work is scoped and paid for separately from any tool grant. A grant never changes our price, and our Blueprint (from S$8,000) and managed growth services are never part of an application or claim.
If your company does not meet the 30% rule, or you want to test a chatbot on real enquiries before committing, self-funding is faster. A Sandbox, from S$3,500, runs that test.
Admiral Systems is not associated with Enterprise Singapore or IMDA. Figures checked 28 October 2026; the official pages and your Letter of Offer always take precedence.
