The short answer
No. There is no EDGE activity for website development, and International Branding lists website development as excluded.
No EDGE activity funds website development, and International Branding excludes it by name. The narrow conditions under which a site may sit inside a larger EDGE project. Checked 28 October 2026.

An online shop tool, or a site inside an integrated transformation project, may fit. A marketing website on its own does not.
We build websites as part of connected martech. We say plainly when a site is self-funded, and it usually is.
Everything you need to decide whether EDGE is right for your business, in one place.
Any EDGE activity requires: registered and operating in Singapore; at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs (ultimate individual ownership); no work started or payment made before you submit.
No. No EDGE activity funds website development, and the International Branding activity names "website development" as a cost it does not support (International Branding page, checked 28 October 2026).
There are two narrow conditions where a site-related cost can sit inside an EDGE application, set out below. A marketing website built on its own does not meet either.
On 1 October 2026 we read every EDGE activity relevant to marketing: the 40 single-function digital solutions listed by Enterprise Singapore, Large-scale Digital Transformation, Overseas Marketing & Public Relations, International Branding and Business Strategic Planning. We checked the figures again on 28 October 2026. None is a website activity. The word "website" appears as an exclusion, not as a supported cost.
If what you need is a place to sell online, EDGE's E-Commerce – Online Shop (B2C) activity supports software for a pre-approved shop with secure payment processing. The cost cap is S$5,000, so up to S$2,500 for an SME, and the vendor must be pre-approved on IMDA's SMEs Go Digital platform. The supported cost is software, capped at 12 months. It does not fund a custom design or build.
Large-scale Digital Transformation supports projects that strengthen core operations with modern technology and involve integration or standardisation across systems "such as business, sales, and procurement". It excludes "automation of isolated tasks without broader business transformation" and "basic IT upgrades".
A website that is one component of such a project, for example the front end of a connected quoting, ordering and CRM process, could be part of the scope. A redesign of a marketing site is an isolated task and would not meet the conditions. Fit is decided by the assessing officer, not by a vendor, and support is up to 50% for SMEs with no published cap.
Many grant pages were written for the old PSG and EDG schemes, which ceased on 29 September 2026. Pages that still promise grant-funded websites are describing rules that no longer apply, or are treating a website as something it is not under EDGE.
Ask which EDGE activity the website sits under, and ask for the activity page link. Then read that page's supported and non-supported costs yourself. If the answer is International Branding, the page excludes website development. If it is Digital Marketing, the package is a campaign engagement and hosting is excluded. If it is Large-scale Digital Transformation, ask to see how the whole project meets the integration and impact conditions, not only the site.
Your company must be registered and operating in Singapore, be at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs (by ultimate individual ownership), and must not have started work or paid any supplier before you submit. You apply yourself, with your company's Corppass; Enterprise Singapore does not allow third parties, including web agencies, to apply for or manage the grant.
We build websites, usually as part of connected martech: CMS, CRM, tracking and automation working together. For most clients, the website is self-funded, and we say so at the start. Where a site is genuinely one part of an integrated project that meets the published criteria, the project can be shaped so that is visible. A grant never changes our price.
The self-funded route is also the faster one. A Sandbox, from S$3,500, can begin this month; a Blueprint, from S$8,000, scopes the full build. Neither is ever part of an application or claim.
Admiral Systems is not associated with Enterprise Singapore or IMDA. Checked 28 October 2026; the official pages always take precedence.
