The rules below are what Enterprise Singapore's pages said for each scheme, as of October 2026. If you hold an approved project, your Letter of Offer, the offer document you accepted on the portal, is the final word on your dates and documents. For an EDGE project, check your Letter of Offer and your own EDGE activity page.
Under Enterprise Singapore's three former grants, the company paid the costs first, and the grant paid out only after the claim was approved. As of October 2026, the BizAdapt FAQ and the EDGE Grant page state a reimbursement basis too. The EDGE Grant page says claims can be submitted "once the activity is completed and full payment has been made." The EDGE Grant FAQ adds that "claims can only be submitted from" a date it sets by activity (EDGE Grant FAQ, as of October 2026).

The BGP 2.0 FAQ names a "Cash Advancement" form. Asked whether the EDGE grant can be provided on a cash advancement basis, the EDGE Grant FAQ says: "No. The EDGE grant is administered on a reimbursement basis" (EDGE Grant FAQ, as of October 2026). Ask the agency that runs your grant before you plan cash around an advance.
No official page we read gives one claim evidence list that covers every scheme. Each scheme set its own. For MRA, the claim guide pointed to the Letter of Offer for the documents. Our suggestion: read your Letter of Offer first.

Evidence is easier to keep when the plan names it. The Grant Project Planner turns a few short answers into a draft project brief in about three minutes. It is free, with no documents or login.
Each scheme's deadline and payment time are below. Our portal guide covers the claim screens.

As of October 2026, the EDG page, MRA page, PSG page and PSG FAQ each gave a payment time counted from claim approval: about 14 working days by PayNow Corporate (the EDG page said "within 14 working days after approval of claims"), and up to eight weeks by GIRO. These are two bank payment methods.
The EDGE activity pages we read give their own times, as of October 2026: "14 working days after claim approval" by PayNow Corporate, and up to eight weeks by GIRO. The company receives an email notification when the claim is approved (one EDGE activity page).
An undated Business Grants Portal FAQ on GoBusiness gives a different figure, as of October 2026: "Claim disbursements take up to 4-6 weeks to process." (GoBusiness FAQ). No official page we read says how long it takes from submitting a claim to its approval.
For SFEC-supported programmes under EDG, MRA or PSG, the EDGE Grant FAQ says employers must submit final claims by 30 November 2026 (EDGE Grant FAQ, as of October 2026).
These are the causes of delay or rejection that official pages named, as of October 2026. We have not added any from experience.
The EDG claims checklist warned: "Failure to provide the required supporting documents may result in delays and/or rejection of your claim." The EDGE activity pages we read say: "Ensure all documents are clear and complete, as incomplete submissions may result in delays or rejection." (one EDGE activity page, as of October 2026).
The MRA page said a change after the project started needed a change request, and that "Failure to do so may cause delays during the claim process subsequently." The BizAdapt page says the same, as of October 2026.
The PSG FAQ said: "No changes to vendor/solution package are allowed after application is approved." A company wanting a new vendor had to terminate the application and submit a new one before paying. "Otherwise, your claims may be rejected subsequently." The EDGE Grant FAQ says no new application is accepted under EDG, MRA or PSG after 30 September 2026 (EDGE Grant FAQ, as of October 2026). We found no official rule on what a PSG project still running can do instead of reapplying.
PSG supported only expenses for the pre-approved package in the Letter of Offer (PSG FAQ). For MRA, the FAQ said: "All qualifying costs will be based on the quotation submitted during application stage."
The EDG claims checklist said: "In the event of company unresponsiveness or failure to complete the claim within the stipulated timeline, Enterprise Singapore reserves the right to withdraw the claim and/or refuse to make payment". This wording comes from the EDG checklist only.
The EDG, MRA and PSG pages each said: "In the event that no PayNow Corporate or GIRO has been set up, we are unable to disburse the claim." The EDGE activity pages we read say the same (one EDGE activity page, as of October 2026).
The PSG FAQ said project claims would not be supported if the company no longer met the eligibility criteria after approval. As of October 2026, the EDGE activity pages we read say the grant's criteria apply until the claim is submitted, and that a claim will not be supported if the company stops meeting them at any point during the project (one EDGE activity page).
Why not keep it all in-house? The costly problems start before the claim. What costs money is evidence that does not exist when the claim is due: a missing sign-off, an invoice to the wrong name, or a change made without approval. So outside help, if you use any, belongs in the plan, not the paperwork.

Our suggestion, not an official rule:
Our view: the evidence a claim needs is set when the project is planned, not when it ends. If each deliverable has a folder, an owner and a finish date from day one, the claim is a matter of handing over what you already kept.
Plan it free first. Our Grant Project Planner asks a few short questions about your business and the bottleneck you want to fix, then gives you a draft project brief on screen in about three minutes. No documents, no login.
Want us alongside you? If the project spans several systems or vendors, or you would rather not run the project alone, tell us about it and check if we're a fit. We look up your company before we reply, and we reply within one working day, Singapore time. If you know something is wrong, but not yet what to fix, a Blueprint is a paid diagnosis that ends with a costed plan.
Grant outcomes are decided only by the agency that runs the grant.
